Installation
Get Runframe up and running in your Slack workspace.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- A Slack workspace with admin permissions
- Permission to install apps to your workspace
Install the Slack App
- Visit the Slack App Directory – Search for “Runframe” or use the installation link from your Runframe dashboard
- Click “Add to Slack” – Authorize Runframe to access your workspace
- Grant permissions – Runframe needs permissions to:
- Create channels (for incident channels)
- Send messages (for updates and notifications)
- View user information (for assignment and routing)
- Complete installation – You’ll be redirected to the Runframe dashboard to sign up or sign in
What happens next?
After installing the Slack app:
- Create your organization – Add your team members
- Set up services – Define the services your team manages (API, Database, Frontend, etc.)
- Configure on-call – Set up your first rotation schedule
- Invite your team – Team members can join via Slack OAuth
